What Happened to AmaLinks Pro? (Is It Gone?)

Review

AmaLinks Pro might be gone. I say “might” on purpose.

The Amazon affiliate link plugin has been offline for over a month. Its website will not load, and the team has said nothing.

I could not confirm a shutdown, so this is an honest status check, not an obituary. Here is what I found, and what to use instead if you need a plugin that works today.

What Is AmaLinks Pro?

AmaLinks Pro is a WordPress plugin for Amazon affiliate links.

It helped bloggers turn Amazon products into links, buttons, and comparison tables inside their posts.

Its standout feature was a “no-API” mode. You could build links even without Amazon’s Product Advertising API, which is hard to get approved for.

Here is what it did:

  • Amazon affiliate links: text and image links with your Associate tag.
  • No-API mode: create links and displays without Amazon API access.
  • Product boxes: styled single-product callouts with image, price, and a button.
  • Comparison tables: responsive multi-product tables to lift click-through.
  • CTA buttons: customizable “check price on Amazon” buttons.
  • Click tracking: Google Analytics tracking and link localization.

It was a premium-only plugin, sold in yearly plans from around $67 up to a $797 lifetime tier.

What Happened to AmaLinks Pro?

The honest answer is that no one outside the company knows for sure.

Here is what the evidence shows.

The AmaLinks Pro website was working normally as recently as mid-March 2026.

Sometime before early July 2026, the server broke. Since then the whole site returns a connection error.

That error has now run for over a month with no fix.

The domain and its Cloudflare setup are still active, so someone is still paying for them. The origin server behind them is simply not responding.

There is no shutdown notice, no goodbye post, and no sign of an acquisition.

Because the site is down, you cannot currently buy or download AmaLinks Pro from the official source.

Is AmaLinks Pro Gone for Good?

Maybe. I cannot say for certain.

A site can go down for a few days during a hosting or certificate problem. That is normal.

A site that stays down for more than a month, with no word from the team, is a different signal. That usually points to a neglected or abandoned server.

So here is my take. Treat AmaLinks Pro as unreliable and move your affiliate links to a tool that works today.

If it comes back, great. You will not have lost anything by switching.

AAWP is the strongest Amazon-only option.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is AmaLinks Pro shut down?

It is unclear.

The site has been down for over a month with no announcement. It was last confirmed working in March 2026. Treat it as unreliable until the team says otherwise.

Can I still buy AmaLinks Pro?

Not right now.

The official site is offline, so there is no way to buy or download it from the source.

Will my existing AmaLinks Pro links still work?

Your links themselves should keep working, since they point to Amazon.

The risk is the plugin. Without updates or support, it may break with a future WordPress or PHP version. That is the reason to migrate.

What is the best AmaLinks Pro alternative?

Lasso for most people.

It is the closest match and works with or without the Amazon API.

The Bottom Line

AmaLinks Pro may just be having a very long outage. It may be gone. Right now you cannot tell.

Either way, do not bet your affiliate income on a plugin you cannot buy, update, or get support for.

Move to one of the alternatives above, and check back if the site ever returns.
